President Obama’s father was a black man from a foreign country and his mother was a White American citizen. Regardless what the Constitution says, Donald Trump just would not give up questioning if our first Black, mixed race if that is important to you, president was really a citizen. There had been 43 previous presidents, and no one got as worked about their citizenship the way Donald got all worked up about Obama’s.
The first 43 were tall, short, fat, skinny, from the four points of the compass, bald, hairy, married, single, hale and hardy, and handicapped.
44 was Black, so citizenship was questioned.
There are those who want to claim that the United States is a Christian Nation, and quite a few who believe this is a Euro-centric one with little room for skin tone beyond pinkish, and names that somehow don’t sound White.
And Trump seems to be, in spite of his claims to the contrary, an adherent to this color test.
Perhaps not in very open ways, but in those more subtle, Trump, who had been working with his father when he was sued for not making property deals with Black people, may have a subconscious attitude that Black people are not fully, or even worthy of being citizens. He did side with the white supremacists after Charlottesville, dancing around calling their bigoted march wrong and un-American and equating them with those who objected to their bigotry, and calling them good people.
Consider that the reason one football player took a knee, and then was followed by many others, was to protest the inequitable treatment of unarmed Black men compared to unarmed and even armed White men, a situation that usually ended with a dead Black guy, but Trump, using his bully pulpit claimed that taking a knee was first disrespectful toward the flag, and then to throw gas on his flame, started saying it was an insult to those who served and are serving in the military.
Apparently, if you do not accept dangerous inequitable treatment, something the flag apparently stands for, you are anti-American.

If they were not that good or necessary for this process, the number certainly would not be at 80%.
So even if Trump only refers to NFL players in the broadest of terms, anyone who knows the value of numbers knows he is talking about Black men, and he is angry that these Black men are attempting to bring attention to a national wrong.
When the NFL owners banned sideline protests of racism and police brutality, Trump went to his favorite entertainment television outlet, and, although happy with the ban, made it known he would like more.
“I don’t think people should be staying in locker rooms, but still I think it’s good — you have to stand proudly for the national anthem or you shouldn’t be playing, you shouldn’t be there, maybe you shouldn’t be in the country. You have to stand proudly for the national anthem, and the NFL owners have done the right thing, if that’s what they’ve done.”
Apparently if you defend your rights and exercise those guaranteed by the Constitution, there is no place for you here in this country.
Don’t like being treated like you do not belong here?
Trump’s simple solution is for you to just leave.
I guess he has confused Americans exercising their right with MS 13,
