Trump bravado :1. His sympathy for the people of Brussels :0

The bombs in Brussels had just exploded, and without missing a beat, Donald Trump went into his political mode making statements with no facts or evidence to back them up, and he once again made it all about himself.

“We have no idea what’s happening. Our government has absolutely no idea what’s happening, but they’re coming into our country. They’re coming in by the thousands and just watch what happens — I’m a pretty good prognosticator — just watch what happens over the years. It won’t be pretty.”

Time to promote his biggest wall ever, and, of course, himself.

“This is what I’ve been saying for a long time, and I guess it’s at least a small part of the reason why I’m the No. 1 front-runner. I mean, people are very concerned about this, and they’re very concerned about the security of this country.”

“I would close up our borders. We are taking in people without real documentation. We don’t know where they’re from or who they are.We have to be very, very vigilant with who we let into this country. Brussels is a great example. Brussels was an absolutely crime-free city, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. And now you look at it and it’s just a disaster.”

And then the tough talk:

“Waterboarding would be fine and if they could expand the laws, I would do a lot more than waterboarding.” [Authorities] should be able to do whatever they have to do. You have to get the information and you have to get it rapidly. …We can’t be soft and weak.”

“It’s why I’m probably number-one in the polls. Because I say we have to have strong borders.”

His words of sympathy for the people of Brussels, “”
