“Let’s take personal responsibility in all areas of life.”

Sarah Palin: 2008 State of the State Address to the 25th Alaska Legislature January 15, 2008.

And that is why she blames her heavy drinking, vandalizing, party brawling son’s beating on his girlfriend and then attempting to prevent her from calling the police on President Obama.

Personal responsibility is probably also why she claimed that the reason she was doing 63 mph in a 45 mph zone, and got a $154 ticket in Alaska in 2014, was because she was listening to Sammy Hagar’s “I Can’t Drive 55” on the car radio, and explained to TMZ, “I wasn’t speeding, I was qualifying.”
