Usually when there is persecution it involves a majority victimizing a minority.
Also, the majority that is in leadership isn’t usually the victim of persecution, nor can they very well claim that because they are in charge.
How can they be outnumbered when they have gotten positions of power by majority vote.
The reality is, a minority can’t persecute you, but they certainly can annoy you.
And there is a difference.
Every president we have had has been Christian.
There are 299members of congress who belong to some denomination of Protestantism, 163 who are Roman Catholic, and 15 who are Mormon, which means that 89% of the U.S. Congress is Christian.
Seven members of the Supreme Court are Christian.
90% of the governors of all 50 states are Christian
So, with over 70% of the American population being Christian, and the statistics above, whatever persecution they claim they are experiencing is the result of actions of their own.
A difference of opinion is not persecution. It is a difference of opinion.
And the simple question is; who is persecuting the majority, and how are they doing it?
