Boys and girls, this is your chance to help an actual state Governor.
This past Thursday Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker said his experience destroying labor unions in his state prepared him to take on the threat of the Islamic State in the Middle East.
When he was asked what experience he had that prepared him to deal with ISIS he said, “If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world.”
He was talking about the time back in 2012 when his budget stripped Wisconsin’s public sector unions of their collective bargaining rights. That means that people like firefighters and police officers would no longer have any say in their hours, wages, or conditions of employment.
People peacefully protested according to their Constitutional rights for several months, but the governor cannot tell the difference between American citizens exercising their rights and a group of murderous terrorists.
This is your chance to help him see the difference.
