Yesterday was the first anniversary of the Biden Administration and as is usual with Democrats, part of their retrospective of the First Year was listing those things that have yet to be done while not listing those things that have been.

Hearing the Democrats whine about what needs to be done left the impression that nothing has been done by the Biden Administration.

Oddly, while having C-SPAN droning on the TV as I write and draw, I noticed that the Republicans who rose to speak in opposition to both the end of the filibuster and the voting rights bill constantly listed all the “socialist” things that Biden has accomplished like they were bad things. They railed against future socialism by listing what had been done so far as a warning.

And the list was long.

The GOP knows Biden has accomplished things because they condemn those things non-stop, so he must have done something.

Not according to the Dems.

The GOP will pick a scrap of paper off the ground and morph that into their having taken major steps to safeguard the environment. Democrats will pick up the paper and then lament there is so much more paper they should pick up. so no one sees the paper they picked up and assume it wasn’t.

Democrats need to start emphasizing what they have done as opposed only emphasizing what still needs to be done.

They will ignore how far they had come and will give up because they only see what distance still needs to be covered. If you want to know what the Biden Administration has accomplished, don’t listen to the Democrats. They will tell you nothing.

Listen to the GOP in their condemnation, they constantly list the accomplishments.
