A majority of scientist believe in human influence on the climate and the need to deal with climate change now.

A minority hasn’t and intends not to.
A majority of Americans, including members of the NRA, want sensible gun control.
A minority does not.
A majority of Americans want government out of the womb and favor a woman’s right to choose and control her own body..
A vocal minority does not.
A majority of Americans want workers to have a living wage.
A minority of people, mostly those who benefit from the poor wages of others, do not want that for anyone.
A majority of Americans want to be able to vote with few impediments.
A minority oppose this because voter suppression is an advantage for them
A majority of Americans want universal healthcare.
A minority of people who make a killing off pharmaceuticals and high insurance premiums do not.
A majority of Americans voted for Joe Biden for president.
A minority voted for Trump.
If the politicians and the media want to actually illustrate the true nature of the country’s division they cannot have a one on one discussion with a representative of the majority and one from the minority. This is disingenuous as it implies the divide is of equal numbers on both sides.
If four out of five dentists recommend a particular toothpaste, having one person who supports that and another one who doesn’t, would imply that the four doctors equal one, or the opposition represents a fictitious group of four.
We are not evenly divided, and, once that is realized and recognized, the extent of how wrong and out of step with the majority of the country the fact deniers are will be obvious.
