World AIDS Day

While we may celebrate the progress made in dealing with AIDS, let us also remember those we lost in the days the Gay Community was on its own and had to come up with the support networks to deal with it, and those we lost during that time who, if it weren’t for prejudice, would have had a better chance to be with us now.

That time was not clean, and the history should not be sanitized or rewritten.

The Red Ribbon is not a fashion statement.

It is the people we lost.
