Blue lives matter
And now the Back The Blue and Blue Lives Matter MAGA crowd are claiming that the police at the capitol betrayed them because in doing their job, they had not been allies of those who invaded the building.
One woman interviewed on a cable news station expressed not only her surprise that she and those attacking the seat of government had met opposition, weak as it was, but her assumption that this was the type of treatment that only BLM deserved and the police should not have treated her group the same.
One police officer was killed.
Apparently, the isolated calls by individuals during Black Lives Matter marches to kill police without any follow up action, is, in their minds, a worse offense than actually killing a police officer.
Police officers were not killed at BLM events. One was killed by the MAGA crowd.
Had he only had limits where none had ever been applied, he would have learned that they do, indeed, exist.
Donald Trump had to be sent to a military school because his parents found him out of control. He brags about punching his piano teacher for thinking he knew more than Donald. While at military school he got appointed to certain titled positions not because he deserved them but because it was easier to let him own the title and act as if you did as he directed. Happy with a title and the assumed prestige it held, he could be easily ignored.
His father found him useful in business, but only in so far as he tagged along and became familiar with those who made his father’s company work and who covered over any mistakes, miscalculations, and outright deceit. He could comfortably leave his real estate business to his son because the people that made and kept him successful would be there to still actually run things while Donald would be the figure head without any real weight.
He, however, missed his father’s intuitive intent, and decided to be the person in power for whom all others worked or faced banishment for the mere hint, real or imagined, of any insubordination or thoughts thereof.
Never having limits and with people realizing that to apply them could result in tantrums and firings, he was allowed to plow ahead with his ideas whose grandness escalated with it all being handled and remedied quietly behind his back, so that he could pose as the success of whom his father would be proud without any concept of the damage and need for damage control he left in his wake.
And those who performed this task knew that as long as this sham played, they got paid. Who was it hurting?
The most people knew of Trump was what they saw when he went on television talk shows and told everybody all about himself while expounding on his unassailable ideas and philosophies on just about any topic and reminded the audience how rich he was.
Whether he was at all rich through legal means or through the exercise of any shady practice needed, he was just some rich guy who hit the social scene and first got the limelight, fleeting or long lasting, in the days of Club 54 as one of many jet-set celebrities. His public persona was all the people needed to see.
But then, whether for real political principles or as a piece of promotional exposure in which he would run for president, garner a following, and be so selectively offensive as to ensure failure to be in the position to start his own cable channel that would address his newfound following, and all the while having his backroom deals to increase his wealth, or at least its appearance, which had no effect on any of us as it was all part of the business world.
He was unknowingly and ignorantly unaware that he had finally reached that point before that one step too far.
Up to this point, each unchallenged idea made the next one easier, and without any opposition, each of his ideas was perfect, and those who played to get paid, never cautioned him to prevent a mistake, but would work hard to control it or clean it up.
The difference now, for which Trump appears to have been woefully uninformed, was that as president, he became the most public of figures and what had been done in the dark had to be viewed in the light, so, as it was no longer just intra-busines but had passed to a business/government realm, needed to be watched for accountability and legality. Not content to be the real estate mogul with his name everywhere, he ventured into unknown territory believing he would be as in control of all involved as everything had been under his control in the world he created around himself, but found out things weren’t as he wanted them to be, but were as they were.
With each move he made and with the vice president and the senate to do the cleanup his spiraling toward the step too far continued until it climaxed with the invasion of the Capitol building and the destruction done during it.
He denied losing the 2020 elections and the tenor of his communications with his supporters became progressively more unhinged until he told the crowd in DC to take it to the Capitol with him there with them.
He would go to his residence and watch it all unfold, and the marchers would go to the capitol, do a lot of yelling while waving a lot of Trump flags, filling his ego with such a sign of his popularity.
His ratings would be the best ever.
However, it went in a way he never considered as there were no options to or any consideration of collateral damage from another best idea. His intention may have been to puff himself this was a way, but the realization was his having encouraged the crowd in what became an act of insurrection as the Back the Blue, Blue and All Lives Matter, MAGA crowd broke into the Capitol, caused destruction, with a police officer dying as the result of an insurrectionist’s striking his head with a fire extinguishers, and four other people who died that day, among them an insurrectionist who killed himself by inducing a heart attack that resulted from his repeatedly accidentally tasing his own genitals in his repeated attempts to take a painting.
He, the president, the most public of people, had encouraged them on video in the most public of places.
He could have accepted his loss in November and exercised his anger by having his own media outlet to vent all he had to say as the representative of all the aggrieved, while continuing the backroom deals that kept the image up, but he chose to keep pushing the limits of his opposition to the results until he took that step too far and called for insurrection.
Had he not taken that ride down the escalator the life he had been leading would have continued and when it came to any illegalities, unless they were sensational, they would continue totally out of public view.
Instead, we got a man who has taken that one step too far becoming his own victim and the completion of what happens when someone grows up without any limitations to observe.
And, it should be remembered, it is Trump’s practice to not wind down a business, but declare bankruptcy and leave picking up the pieces to others.
That, however, would be harmless to the country if it were only related to business. Having been president, that changes.

Perhaps now that it has happened to them and, judging by their words, people entering the Capitol Building with guns was traumatic, based on their experience and the trauma caused, the House and Senate will finally and seriously address school shootings where children face what Congress admits, now, no one should.
Or is now not a good time?
