Besides the infamous Access Hollywood recording on the bus that made clear that to Trump women were sexual objects and he the irresistible stud-muffin who can violate women because he is a celebrity, and did so often, there is a video from 1992 when Trump was 46 years old in which he spoke to a young girl walking toward an escalator in the Trump Tower lobby . After asking her if she was going up on it, and she told him she was, in what could have appeared to be simply Trump being friendly, he politely let the 10 year old step onto the escalator.
His gallantry quickly ended when he turned to the Entertainment Tonight camera that had been recording him and said,
“I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?”
The girl was a pre-teen, but Trump still assessed
her sexually while he was dating his second wife, Marla Maples, after having
been divorced for a year from his first wife, Ivana, apparently admitting that
if he were to marry Marla it would not be a long marriage, or he was intending
to cheat on his second wife if it lasted.
Recently, Trump had an encounter with another female minor.
At the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Greta Thunberg criticized the United States for leaving the Paris Climate Accords saying,
“The fact that the USA is leaving the Paris accord seems to outrage and worry everyone, and it should. But the fact that we’re all about to fail the commitments you signed up for in the Paris Agreement doesn’t seem to bother the people in power even the least.”
When asked by the Wall Street Journal about
the comments of Time magazine’s 16 year old 2019 person of the year, Greta
Thunberg, in spite of undoing regulations on clean air and water, Trump
claimed,
“We want to have the cleanest water on earth. We want to have the cleanest air on earth. Our numbers, as you saw, we had record numbers come out very recently. Our numbers are very, very good. Our environmental numbers, our water numbers, our numbers on air are tremendous.
We’re clean and beautiful. You have another continent where the fumes are rising at levels that you can’t believe. I mean, I think Greta ought to focus on those places.”
And then he revealed that although he didn’t know anything
about her, he was aware, at least, that
“She beat me out on Time magazine.”
Had she not been promoting the need to address climate change, and had she not beat him out as person of the year in a non-existent competition for that honor, who knows?, in ten years, he might have been dating her.

Radio station WBSM on the South Coast of
Massachusetts is to the Bristol County Sheriff, Thomas Hodgson, what Fox News
is to Trump.
I had been on the station the week before our Rally
at the Ash Street Jail in New Bedford, and was given the opportunity to explain
the rally and the reasons for it.
I was able to explain that in January 2017, when Tom Hodgson
announced that he was volunteering inmates in the Bristol County House of
Corrections to build the border wall, a group of individuals and organized
groups joined together to form Bristol County for Correctional Justice.
In its ongoing research of the sheriff and his performance at the jail, BCCJ found that in spite of over half the inmates in his jails still having yet to have their day in court and, therefore, remain innocent until proven guilty, Hodgson has the highest suicide rate of all state’s county jails; supplies insufficient medical and mental health care; lacks rehabilitative services; overuses solitary confinement; disregards legally mandated reporting requirements; profits off overpriced inmate phone calls; enjoys non-job related travel at the taxpayers’ expense; is involved with white supremacist and anti-immigrant organizations; and, as was recently revealed, has been spying on individuals, churches, businesses, and social organizations in Bristol County without their knowledge, and reporting them to Stephen Miller at the White House since 2017.
His job is
to run his jails, and he is, obviously, doing a poor job of that.
We were rallying to get the public’s attention to
these abuses and to get the sheriff to establish real, comprehensive medical
and mental health services; comply with laws regarding solitary confinement; promote
transparency and real accountability; open his books to a real audit; allow
non-North Korean style inspections of his jails; ensure humane and respectful
treatment of ICE detainees; stop making broad and baseless anti-immigrant claims
without the facts to support them so he can appear to be tough; and using his white
supremacist, anti-immigrant statements to get Trump’s attention for self
promotion at the cost to residents and the safety of the people of Bristol
County.
Or, failing this, do the right thing and step down.
I was informed during a break in the broadcast that the sheriff would be on the show by phone after me during which time, having never met me, nor having any conversation with me, like his idol who assigns nicknames and makes uninformed statements, he told the listening audience that I was an uninformed socialist, “socialist” being the go-to scary word that gives away who makes up the listening audience.
I found out the following Friday that a different
radio host than the one whose show I had been on, as a defender of the sheriff
had found fault with what I had said about him and was challenging me to call
in to “discuss”. Apparently he predicted that I would not accept the challenge,
that being a good prediction as his show is on from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and as
I am retired and would be just having my first cup of coffee as the show
entered its third hour and I don’t listen to that station anyway, I did not
hear the challenge.
The station has my contact information, but
contacting me directly, which could have been productive, wouldn’t have been as
dramatic and controllable.
The rally was held as planned in spite of the cold temperatures, and it was attended by people on a continuum of ages, sexes, orientations, races, creeds, and national origins, but one of the radio hosts decided that we were all “The illegal alien lobby”, undefined, who hated the choices made by the voters “unless it is in Cuba or Venezuela”.
One sign that the radio station is partial to the sheriff was their referring to him by the title he uses on his website that is an untrue aggrandizement of his actual title. He calls himself, and the station did as well, the “High Sheriff of Bristol County”, which is actually the official title bestowed in England by William the Conqueror when he established his constabulary after the Battle of Hastings, and not the actual title in this country where he is just called the “sheriff”.
Another was that, even though the station claimed “Sheriff Hodgson did not appear at the demonstration”, it was clear this was a piece of fiction as having gone directly from my nearby apartment to the jail to greet any attendees who might go there directly to avoid the walking, I was there for a while with two other people as the sheriff department’s K-9 Units drove by a number of times, and while a local clergy person among the three of us spoke with the sheriff who had pulled up in his SUV and rolled down his window before he drove over and parked the SUV in the small parking area on the northern side of the jail’s entrance.
Prior to this, he had driven down town where he drove pass the approaching marchers and, with his window rolled down, checked them out.
One of the station’s hosts claimed the “hardcore
radical left” was out supporting illegal aliens, while ignoring the statistics
on suicides, recidivism, poor mental and medical health programs, the over-use
of solitary confinement, and questionable finances among other reasons for the
protest and, again, appealing to those of its listeners of a certain age,
referred to the marchers as people who used to
walk the same streets supporting the Viet Cong and the Communists in North
Vietnam as they were killing and torturing American soldiers.
And, promoting the sheriff’s tactic of appealing to the fear of big cities with their non-white populations held by those in the smaller towns in the county, he went on to say,
“Everybody understands the illegal aliens aren’t moving to
wealthy towns like Marion and Wellesley; they are moving to Bristol County
cities like Fall River and New Bedford.”
I have
learned from many decades of union, civil rights, and GLBT activism that a
common trait of many people in power is their assumption that, if they are not
aware that you have information, they assume you do not have it, and act
accordingly.
To hear Chris McCarthy of WBSM tell it, those who find fault with the sheriff have no basis for their complaints, presenting himself as an unbiased judge of the situation, and his non-biased views lead him to fall on the side favoring the sheriff.

The ACLU’s Freedom of Information Act request to the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office resulted in more than just the emails among which were those revealing that the sheriff has been spying on the residents of the county, but also in tweets and texts from the radio station and Mr. McCarthy dealing with scheduling media appearances so the sheriff could spread his anti-immigrant biases and promote himself.
They also contained heads up messages sent to the sheriff from the radio station so that, unlike any other person being interviewed and unaware of the questions in advance, he could be totally prepared for the spontaneous questions from Chris McCarthy, the person from WBSM who had bad mouthed those marching against the sheriff while praising him as the “High Sheriff of Bristol County”.
There are also messages from the sheriff’s spokespeople to the station and McCarthy.
McCarthy compared him to the president:
“The Sheriff and you as his media person changed the national conversation in the way only a President can usually move an issue. Tremendous job.”
There are messages from the sheriff’s spokesperson that show, besides the heads up he gets, Hodgson actually has a radio schedule,
“Hi Chris, I’m out of the office this week. Brock is handling this stuff and has his [Hodgson’s] radio schedule for the next few days.”
There are messages from the sheriff’s spokesperson that show, besides the heads up he gets, Hodgson actually has a radio schedule,
“Hi Chris, I’m out of the office this week. Brock is handling this stuff and has his [Hodgson’s] radio schedule for the next few days”
The spokesperson also wrote of Hodgson’s suggestion,
“Hi Chris, Congrats on the new show. Sheriff asked me to get in touch. He mentioned you wanted him to come on sometime. Right now, our best bet is a call in tomorrow or an in-studio on Tuesday or Wednesday. Also, if you want to set something regular up, say every Friday or every other Wednesday or the first Thursday of the month or whatever, we’re open to that as well.
McCarthy admits in one message to the sheriff’s
spokesperson,
“we do enough together to have you call
or text me. Send me a text when you have a moment so we can communicate rapidly
when needed. Thanks.”
In a reference to a local social justice group that he referred to after the Rally on January 18, 2020 as the “illegal alien lobby”, he once wrote regarding an upcoming election a while back,
“I understand the Commies at the Coalition for Social Justice are going to run SEIU organizer [name omitted by me]in the special.”
and
“Off the record: Have you heard anything about [name omitted by me] running for the open NB Ward 3 CC seat?”
When the legalization of marijuana was under consideration, this sheriff’s spokesperson notified the radio host,
“Hi Chris. Sheriff was interviewed by the herald today about that stoned kid who hit the school bus in Gloucester. Just wanted to let you and the other radio guys know he’s available to take the anti-weed side if anyone’s interested. Thanks, and merry Christmas.”
There is also an exchange in which McCarthy sends a
private text to the sheriff about a New Bedford City Council member’s letter to
the state legislature on marijuana dispensaries
in preparation for a forthcoming interview:
I sent TH a text with the letter NB CC
[-] sent to the state legislature asking them to change the law on local
control. This story is going to be big and I wanted Tom to have all the
information in advance of the media.
The spokesperson responded
“Awesome. Thx Chris. We will be ready for it when it hits.”
Was the City Council member informed that the radio
station was preparing the sheriff for the interview, or did they allow him to
believe the interview was going to be spontaneous and held on equal footing?
The sheriff’s spokesperson sent McCarthy a Tweet thanking him for Hodgson’s
chance to vent on his favorite topics:
“Hi Chris, just wanted to follow up and
say thanks for having the Sheriff on this morning. Trump, immigration,
Elizabeth Warren … he was in heaven. Anytime you want to chat again on Herald
of BSM, just drop us a line …. thanks, Jonathan.”
McCarthy returned,
“Jonathan,
I just spoke with the Sheriff and scheduled him to call in to Boston Herald
radio this Friday morning at 7:20am to discuss [a] press release.”
That press release was from Hamilton Strategies, a “full-service communications firm serving Christian non-profit organizations” that is also a propaganda center for Islamophobia and Homophobia, dealing with an interfaith celebration of an “Anti-Hate” event at the Islamic Society of Boston excoriating liberal Jews and Christians who attended the event, including Marty Walsh and Elizabeth Warren, accusing the Islamic Center of being a “terror-linked, Saudi-funded radical mega-mosque”, and mentioned a planned machine gun attack on a “mall in Attleboro, MA.”
In this vein, McCarthy attempted to link the Islamic
Center to this terror attack on a mall in Attleboro and sent an article to
Hodgson informing him of spontaneous questions he intended to ask the sheriff.
“There is a section in the press release that mentions a planned machine gun attack which we will be asking about.”
For those who don’t remember that mall attack, the
reason is because there was no such plan and no such attack.
This station and its radio host, while posing as a neutral defender of a wrongly maligned sheriff, and misrepresenting citizens of Bristol County as anti-American because they want the sheriff to do his real job, actually has a close and rather cozy relationship with him supplying him with information they will be discussing on shows, feeding him with topics and questions that will appear in solo and multi-people interviews while pretending the questions are spontaneous and the sheriff is hearing the content of them for the first time and at the same time as anyone else on the show, and while he has played the role of a righteously indignant person horrified by the actions of “illegal aliens”, feeds the sheriff anti-Islamic and anti-immigrant falsehoods to help the sheriff fine tune his tropes, while remaining stuck in the 60s by equating the marchers at the anti-sheriff rally, many of whom had not been born yet, with walking “the same streets supporting the Viet Cong and the Communists in North Vietnam as they were killing and torturing American soldier”, while buoying up a man who seeks the attention of a five time draft dodger.
As McCarthy wrote to Hodgson’s spokesperson,
“The Sheriff and you as his media person
changed the national conversation in the way only a President can usually move
an issue. Tremendous job.”
And for the curious,
there are more related messages.

Sally,
whose classroom had been just a few doors down the hall from mine, and who had
been teaching Advance Placement Government, a class that was supposed to
explain how our democratic system worked and, perhaps, interest students in a
life of public service, was an extremely religious and conservative person who
graded on how close a student’s paper came to supporting conservative Christian
views.
According
to her web site she had wanted to be a celibate missionary for Christ until He
introduced her to the minister who would become her future husband. She never
made it clear on her web site or in personal conversation whether this
introduction was done as a blind date, a simple introduction at a social event,
or a tossing off from a horse on the road to some city. Although God never
spoke to the woman who was to be the Mother of His Son about her impending
impregnation, choosing, instead, to send an emissary, He not only spoke to this
teacher that one time, but, seemingly to give into the Yenta side of his
Jewish-ness by running her life, Jesus then decided to go further and tell her
to have babies and stay home to raise them; to get into teaching when they were
grown so He could be brought back to the public schools; and, having
accomplished everything up to that point, but not being in a position to change
public education from the classroom, run for the state legislature to
accomplish this.
She was a
short, stocky woman who, as the golf coach, favored Dickie pants with polo
shirts and comfortable shoes as her daily dress, and kept her somewhat curly
hair in a short bobbed cut. Most people upon first seeing or meeting her
assumed she was a Lesbian, often chastising themselves later for giving into
accepting a stereotype. This misinterpretation of her outward appearance may
have had a part in her beliefs about Gay people.
It seemed
that after she was in the legislature she needed to come out of the clichéd
gate running, and found her motivation.
Oddly, as
it happened this way in every place in America where the book was condemned,
locally two parents picked up their children whom they had left at the library
unattended, and on the way home asked what books they had gotten. One of the
children began to read from a book, King and King, the story of a prince whose
mother while attempting to marry him off to a princess found he was actually in
love with another prince and had no problem with it. After almost hitting a
tree and potentially killing their own children in their horror, the parents
called the new representative who then demanded that as the public library was
tax funded, this book be removed from all libraries, or those offending
libraries which refused to do this would be denied funding from the state. The
bad parenting skills of the parents who simply dropped their children off
unsupervised in a day in age when children were being abducted, or could be,
was obvious. They had not supervised their children, nor helped them pick books
out of the library that they intended to read at home, and, upon seeing their
own failing, attempted to blind others to it by distraction.
Their
obvious failure was somehow lost to the expediency of the moment.
Attracting
some very disturbingly conservative people, the legislator went to a Metro
Library Commission meeting demanding any book with a “Homosexual
Theme”, or which might have spoken of Homosexuality as anything other than
an abomination, be removed from the system. Her assumption, apparently, was
that as a legislator she would speak, they would listen, there would be no
question, and she would be obeyed. I do not think she was aware that people
would object to her attempted use of power, or that her wishes would not be so
automatically obeyed.
A group
of people including legal people from the ACLU, local Gay organizations,
library workers and concerned citizens, myself included, went to the same
meeting to argue that parents, after instilling in their children their own
family values, should view what their children intend to read before they check
out a book at any library, rather than demand that if they found something
objectionable no one should be allowed to read it.
The
commission was to take things under advisement, or avoidance if you will, and
hold a few more meetings before any decision was made.
The press
was mixed in their reaction to her move, but most often questioned it. Although
the media tried mightily to report in a balanced, neutral way, some of her
statements which bordered on fanaticism came across that way. As the meetings
progressed and the foolishness of her demand became more and more apparent, she
modified her demand from removing the books totally from libraries to placing
them in a restricted area for books that were controversial in nature without
actually describing who would do this, or on what it would be based.

The
commission, for its part, knowing that as libraries are funded by all tax
payers, was reluctant to choose and place books apart solely on the opinions
and desires of any one group. Even the Bible had its unsavory parts, and fairy
tales were rife with negative references to step-mothers that would certainly
offend those families that had one. It was conceivable that quite a few
originally unintended books with anything anyone might find objectionable would
be put in a totally separate place apart from the other books. There just
wasn‘t enough space in any library to accommodate all the books that might need
to be moved.
If any
parent did not want his or her child to read something it was up to them to
establish limits within their family and be with the child at the library. It
was wrong for someone to force their own personal family values on others by
deciding what other people‘s children should be able to read.
The final
compromise of the Library Commission to the legislator‘s demand was far from a
total seclusion of these books in a separate room. They would be placed on an
easily findable shelf, but separated from other books. Instead of the desired
effect of making them hard to find, these so called controversial books were
made more easy to find because they were on a separate shelf in a section of
the main library, and not mixed with other books where they would have blended
in, like the enticing bawdy magazines being separated from sport and news magazines
in a newspaper store are made easier to find.
Her
greatest threat of withholding public funds from non-cooperating libraries was
shot down in the state legislature, and the matter died.
All this in the opening years of the 21st
Century.
In
a repeat of history but with some fine tuning, Missouri
Republican Ben Baker has introduced legislation that could imprison librarians
who allow youth to check out books on GLBT topicsand/or host a drag queen story
hour.
Baker denies that his legislation
would ban the books, but would merely make them hard to find or place them in a
“restricted” area of the library, but h does admit he objects to the recent
“drag queen story hour” trend where performers read age-appropriate books to
children.
“The main thing is, I want to be able to take my kids to a library and make sure they’re in a safe environment, and that they’re not gonna be exposed to something that is objectionable. Unfortunately, there are some libraries in the state of Missouri that have done this. And that’s a problem.”
Apparently, just like with Sally,
publicly funded libraries are not for all the people who fund them.
“In some places they’ve had these drag queen story hours and that’s something that I take objection to and I think a lot of parents do. That’s where in a public space, our kids could be exposed to something that’s age-inappropriate. That’s what I’m trying to tackle.”
Like most special activities at
libraries are advertised way in advance, no one is ambushed by them and anyone
wanting to avoid them can. I lice two blocks from my city’s main library, and I
avoid the place when there is a library-wide children’s activity day.
The proposed “Parental Oversight of
Public Libraries Act” would be made up of panels of parents who determine
whether or not a book is “appropriate for children.” Public hearings would
allow parents to object to any other books.
According to the representative’s
plan, Libraries who do not move the books and restrict access would lose state
funding and librarians could be fined $500 or imprisoned for up to a year.
The former was part of the first
library case, the latter is a new twist.
The people involved with Drag Queen story hours,
whether the reader or the parents, are taxpayers and it is their library too.
Sometimes police read a book. Sometimes a firefighter
reads a book. Sometimes a clergy person will read a book. Some people have a
problem with police, and some people don’t go to a library for religion.
Would there be a similar application restricting other
taxpayers’ use of the library?

The Southern Poverty Law Center recently published a series of emails from Stephen Miller, Trump’s immigration policy architect, that revealed that Miller pitched white nationalist and anti-immigrant ideas while he was an aide to Senator Jeff Sessions and then later as Trump’s campaign policy adviser on immigration.
In some, Miller blasted President
Obama, Jeb Bush, and former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor claiming their
support of DACA was protecting “illegal immigration.”
“Jeb has mastered the art of using immigration rhetoric to sound ‘moderate’ while pushing the most extremist policies,” he had written.
“Demanding DREAMers be given citizenship because they ‘know no other home.’ That principle is an endorsement of perpetual birthright citizenship for the foreign-born. Not only will the U.S.-born children of future illegal immigrants and guest workers be made automatic U.S. citizens, but their foreign-born children will too because, as Cantor said, ‘Our country was founded on the principle.'”
The principle he referred to, although not the real one about immigrants making America what it is, was the “great replacement” theory that claims minorities will take over the country, and, so, is a popular scare tactic with white nationalists, and has been referred to in several mass shooter suspects’ manifestos.

In more than 900 emails to Breitbart,
Miller promoted the idea that an expanding “foreign-born share” of
the U.S. workforce was displacing current demographics.
But in one historically ignorant email
he promoted the idea of shipping immigrants out of the country on trains as a
scare tactic.
Where have we seen large populations shipped out of one country to another in packed box cars before?
Kayla Kenney, a 15-year-old girl used to be a student at Whitefield Academy, a Christian school, but she has been expelled from that school.
The head of the school, Dr. Bruce Jacobson, had seen a picture of her posted on social media celebrating her birthday. In the picture she was wearing sweater with rainbow running across it. It was a generic rainbow with only the colors orange, yellow, light blue, and purple, but rather than seeing it as something colorfully generic, the head of the school saw something more demonic in it.
According to him, the picture “demonstrates a posture of morality and cultural acceptance contrary to that of Whitefield Academy’s beliefs”.
The school’s policy says that “homosexual orientation” is “in opposition to the Biblical lifestyle the school teaches” and the policy allows the school to punish students for behavior that occurs outside of school.

After Hurricane Maria slammed into
Puerto Rico in October 2017 killing at least 3,000 people, we learned a couple
of things. We learned that President Trump was unaware that Puerto Ricans are
American citizens; islands are islands because they are surrounded by water;
Puerto Rico is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean; Trump can identify the
Puerto Ricans in a NYC crowd; and the most helpful tool for the clean-up was
paper towels tossed at Puerto Ricans like bread tossed at Central Park pigeons.
But he was reluctant to get real aid
to them
The Department of Housing and Urban
Development should have started disbursing $9.7 billion in aid to Puerto Rico
in September as part of a congressional allocation to deal with the disaster
and strengthen natural disaster readiness, but HUD has released about $1.5
billion of those funds. A senior HUD official has said that the remainder of
the relief cash won’t be released anytime soon, and did not give a timeline for
when the aid will be released
When Texas and Florida were hit by
natural disasters during that same time period, Trump pledged aid to both
states, and they got it quickly. No tossing paper towels there.
After the recent magnitude 6.4
earthquake shook Puerto Rico with several major aftershocks following, the
destruction of homes, and two-thirds of the island losing power, the Trump
administration refused to release all available disaster because of Trump’s concerns
about “corruption” and “financial mismanagement” on the island.
I suppose one undeniable truth to support the charge
of corruption is that Puerto Rico’ president has been impeached.

In the letter Schumer insisted,
“As opposed to erecting hurdles to recovery, the administration should be clearing a path, righting past wrongs and delivering the support our fellow American citizens so clearly need.”
Trump is a rich guy from New York City who grew up in the years when Puerto Ricans began their great migration there. He probably still resents that Tony fell in love with Maria and that Chino killed him.
His motivations towards them as their president is questionable.

turn a peaceful meal into one of anger and rancor. Even if you were not part of
the conversation, you would still have to deal with the angry words of others
and the emotional aftershocks when an argument or the meal ended.
Sometimes I wish there was some way to enforce this
prohibition at bars, or anywhere where liquor is involved because politics and
religion do not mix well with adult beverages, and are often the cause of loud
yelling with little rationality and fights for no acceptable reasons.
The other night, while having drinks with friends, a
news story came up on the TV behind the bar about Hillary Clinton’s latest
exoneration after yet another empty investigation, and the young man sitting
next to me announced that she was a crook and a criminal who should be locked
up for all those things she has gotten away with.
He is one of those hard to explain Gay Republicans,
and having been born in the first year of Bill Clinton’s presidency had no
experiential knowledge of the Clinton years, so he had gotten his information
from his Republican parents and other hard to explain Gay Republicans.
When I asked him what crimes she has committed, all
he could offer were instances of her having been accused. In this country we are
innocent until proven guilty, not guilty by accusation, and if proof of guilt
is lacking, the accused remains innocent in spite of people’s wishes, desires,
or opinions.
He did not seem eager or willing to accept any new
knowledge at the time, as it would go against what he wanted to believe, so for
peace in the house I pretended to be suddenly distracted by something that not
bee said by the person sitting on my other side, and began a conversation about
a new topic with him to get away from the first one.
I know this young man is not alone in this Hillary
is guilty just because attitude, so I have decided to present all those things
of which Hillary was accused, and the results of the investigations in rulings.
First, let me point out that this conversation took
place in New Bedford Massachusetts, and this young city native made the claim
that Hillary had always lived a privileged life without ever working with the
common person. The reality is that after she had graduated from Yale, Hillary
had worked with special needs people in New Bedford and was instrumental in creating
the Massachusetts Special Education law.
He was not aware of her relationship with his own city,
or what that relationship had created.
Upon their
moving into the White House, Bill And Hillary were accused of having made
corrupt financial contributions to a real
estate entity known as Whitewater Development Corporation while Bill was an
Arkansas state official. Their partners in the real estate investment were Jim
McDougal, who was eventually was convicted of fraud charges for making bad
loans, and his wife, Susan, who was convicted of fraud in connection with
obtaining a $300,000 federally-backed small business loan.
The only “crime”
committed by the Clintons was found to be their naivete` in accepting some bad investment
advice and being played by someone who used their friendship for their own
advantage.
In Bill’s
first year in office, seven workers in the travel office
were fired with the White House explaining it was because of ethics and
financial record-keeping problems in that office, and not, as some claimed, to get
rid of government workers to make room for cronies.
The Justice Department, a
congressional panel, a special prosecutor, and Independent Counsel Ken Starr
found the crony thing was not substantiated, and after 7 years being

against Hillary was found.
During these investigations White House lawyer Vince Foster was found dead in a Virginia park, and Republican lawmakers and conservative interest groups suggested foul play. A note had been found in his brief case stating,
“I was not meant for the job or the spotlight of public
life in Washington. Here ruining people is considered sport.”
Investigators learned from family
members, friends, and co-workers that Foster had struggled with depression and
feared he could lose his security clearance if he sought help for the problem. It
was determined that he died at his own hand.
In 1996, while agents were conducting an investigation on a case,
they found hundreds of FBI files on former White House workers.
In the investigation of what became
known as “Filegate”, it was found that, in spite of claiming Hillary had compiled
these dossiers, this had been done by two
staff members who then quit their jobs, and an independent counsel
uncovered no wrongdoing by the either Clinton.
When the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya was raided
and Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed, members of
Congress accused Hillary of offering misleading comments about the nature of
the attack and failing to protect the Americans.
The House Select Committee on Benghazi interviewed Clinton for
11hours and when no evidence of cover-up and lying regarding the
Benghazi attack and its aftermath was found, 9 more hearing were held, each arriving
at the same conclusion as the first and the one before it.
Republican lawmakers claimed the Clinton Foundation had engaged
in conflicts of interest and quid pro quo deals during Hillary Clinton’s tenure
as secretary of state, but, unlike with the Trump foundation, there was no evidence
of this beyond the claim.
During the 2015 election the FBI and
Justice Department investigated whether Hillary Clinton’s private email server compromised
government secrets during her time at the State Department.
The result was that, although it might not have been the smartest thing to do, there was no evidence Hillary had compromised government secrets either by intention or in error.
The final score is accusers 0: Hillary 16, if you count each Benghazi hearing individually; 7, if you lump them.
Other things Hillary has been accused of were her signing a lucrative book contract when she was a private citizen; not divorcing Bill when he cheated on her, thus, while being in favor of single moms, she was hypocritical by choosing not to become one; her getting financial support from the mafia, China, and Wall Street; her handing over the documents to public officials that she had brought from the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock where she had been working to the White House, which she had obviously doctored since no evidence was found in them that she had committed any crimes, so she must have doctored them; her being brain damaged; her getting the flu during flu season; and her running a child trafficking operation from the basement of a Washington DC pizzeria that has no basement.
If you add all this up, it is obvious that the aforementioned young man and others of like mind have a firm foundation upon which to build their negative opinion of Hillary.
